CFD simulations of flows past airfoils are nowadays standard engineering practice. QuickerSim CFD Toolbox for MATLAB® enables that via its standard tools appended with a variety of simple RANS turbulence models:

  • van Driest
  • k-l
  • Prandtl’s mixing length
  • Srebric (for environmental turbulence)
  • CITM

Additionally, The QuickerSim CFD Toolbox contains Boundary-Layer generating functions that can be used to generate appropriate mesh in the solid-wall vicinity after external mesh has already been read.
